Today I want to share other nice k-drama again. Its name "The Innocent Man" .
The lead male role was played by Song Joongki. He played a man called Kang Maru. Maru once was a nice man. He was very smart and had excellent grades on his college. He was doing so well. But everything must go to an end when his girlfriend, Han Jaehee -played by Park Siyeon- called him to help her cure a dead man whom was killed by herself. Knowing nothing can be done, Maru told Jaehee to turn herself to the police. Instead of listening, Jaehee was full of rage and blabbing about how her reputation as a reporter could be fall down if she did that. For his big love for Jaehee, Maru made himself a black goat to save her.
Few years passed. Maru has been freed from his punishment. While Jaehee became a mistress from a rich man and had a son, betraying Maru after all of his sacrifaction. Her step-daughter, Seo Eungi who was played by Moon Chae Won, was not happy with this marriage and even detested her for destroying her happy family. She blamed Jaehee to be the reason her mom was kicked out from her own house.
Fate made its way. The three lead roles were found to be in the same location, Japan and took the same flight. Maru first met Eungi when he was going to the toilet. The heart disease Seo Eungi had relapsed and it caused her fell toward Maru arms. In the beginning, he thought Eungi was just flirting with him. But when he realized there was something wrong, he laid her down and checked her pulse. At the time, some stewardess came and interrupted him. Feeling they would take care of the rest, he stood up and went back to his seat.
Later then, it has been announced that they needed a doctor to save Eungi. Jaegil (Lee Kwangsoo) kept asking Maru to go help the sick woman. But, he refused till Jaegil brought up Choco (Lee Yoobi) and Maru gave in. He went for a try and unexpectedly met his ex there. The two were in shock. Knowing Eungi was her daughter, Maru almost refused to save her again. But, he didn't do it.
After that meeting, Maru was in deep hatred for Jaehee for betraying him. He even used Eungi to help him get revenge. By the time passed, Maru developed a feeling for Eungi slowly. But when he has already fall in love with her, they got an accident which caused Eungi lost her memories and Maru had some bleeding in his head.
Again, fate made them met each other. With the pictures of them, Eungi came to Maru saying she might forget her memories but she could feel the overflowing love in his heart when she met Maru. Maru who knew himself was once a jerk, tried to avoid her as much as he could, but ended up helping her to win back her own company which at that time was controlled by Jaehee after she killed the director.
That was the short story of the drama. I felt really great toward this drama. I love how the plot was made up and how it made me want to watch it over and over again. The pain of love, the willingness, the sincerity was portrayed so well in this drama. I'm so glad I didn't stop in the first episode because it's kinda weird in the beginning. But as the story went on, I came to love this drama more and more. I recommended this drama as well.
I still remember how painful I was when I watched this drama. Song Joongki played his role really well. I teared so much, especially when I knew Maru didn't even shed a single tear from his pain. He was hurted so much yet he never cried for himself. I was so proud with him. How I wished a man like him would appear nowhere in this world. He sacrificed so much yet he still felt as he never did anything. Everyone thought he was okay when he was actually not.
The same reaction also went to Moon Chaewon. I love how she played Seo Eungi who was willingly throwing everything else for Maru just to be played around. Even when she knew the truth that she was being played, she still didn't flinched. She still stayed around him and tried to get him ran away with her. When she got her memories back and knowing Maru was a jerk toward her, she tried to hurt him as much as he did to her. Yet, after all of that, she still couldn't hate him and called herself a fool. It showed the real sincere love she was having all the time.
In conclusion of my review is I love this drama so much to the extend I want everyone who has never watched this, to watch it. It's a great drama, everyone.
